FIVE TIPS THAT CREATE THE UNITED KINGDOM BUSINESS CARD.
Follow the instructions.
01. Do Not Forget The Basic Principle of Design
This may seem obvious, but it is worth remembering that a business card is a printed document, like any other.
Keep all copies of your keys at least 5 mm from the edge of the lining.
Works at 300 dpi for better image reproduction.
Remember to keep the minimum font size for readability.
Design in CMYK, if you work exclusively with special colors.
02. Make it Available for Reading
If you have a lot of information that you can show, you may be tempted to reduce the size of your text. Be careful: small texts can often be legible on the screen, but after printing they become illegible. In general, do not jump less than 8 points. Don’t forget the source: stay simple and professional: do not be tempted to use Comic Sans or a detailed calligraphy font that cannot be decoded.
03. Be creative
There are some “standard” sizes of business cards, depending on where you are in the world (perhaps because the size of the portfolios also varies slightly from one country to another).
04. Colorful or Simple
Bright colors, when used properly, can display a business card and make it visible. A simple black and white pattern can be as memorable and vivid as a bright card, and can often be considered more “elegant.”
05. Avoid Common Mistakes
Good to know some common mistakes when making business cards. The first and most obvious is to make sure the choice is made according to your printer.

The ratio of gold is a mathematical relationship. It is common in nature and, when used in design, it promotes organic and natural compositions that aesthetically attract the eyes. But what is a golden relationship and how can you use it to improve your own models?
By entering it as simply as possible (eek!), Is there a number of gold (also called golden number, average number, proportion of Divine or Greek letter Phi) when the line is divided into two parts, the smallest part (b) is equal to the sum of (a) + (b) divided by (a), equal to 1.618.
This harmony and proportion have been recognized for thousands of centuries: from the pyramids of Giza to the Athenian destiny of Athens; from the creation of Michelangelo Adam on the roof of the Sistine Chapel to the Mona Lisa Da Vinci; and the Pepsi logo in the Twitter logo. Our bodies and faces also follow a mathematical relationship.
Avoid negative spaces:
Negative space is a method of creating a trend logo that seems to have delayed the designer. Also known as empty space, negative space technology involves the use of alternate colors in a graph to create a double image.
Use double visual input:
Some of my favorite logos in the world use a technique that I want to call a dual visual sense, which is too sophisticated to say that two images are integrated into the intellectual interpretation of a concept or idea.
Using color theory:
One of the most important factors for a palette logo color design. This is not a small color decision, carrying meaning and communication ideas.
Using linear drawings:
Considered by many designers as one of the hottest logo design designers, line drawing is a favorite technique. Line drawings are usually preferred to create simple logos. This method only means using lines and nothing else. This makes these logos unique and memorable. Lines is an image containing straight and curved lines.
Think about your audience:
Make a list of words that describe your brand and how you perceive it. Think of yourself as someone in your audience and always remember what would be important to them.

We create a contrast when two or more elements of our design are different. The degree of difference will determine how much the contrast will be noticeable. One of the most common examples of contrast is color. Some colors mix almost together when they are close to each other.
Adjustment means how to place the different visual elements in your composition so that they are personalized. These can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal lines. You can adjust elements, including text, the top, bottom, left, or right edges of a page, as well as balance them on an axis stroke.
Balance is the way you place the elements in a composition so that your point of view is the same throughout your composition.Visual weight is the amount of attention an object will call the viewer, as a darker object that attracts more attention than lighter objects.
